I came across so many glowing reviews on TikTok for the Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm Stick that I had to order it immediately - I've never waited so impatiently for my Amazon order. This product claims to provide concentrated wrinkle improvement, to smooth fine lines, moisturise, plump and rejuvenate, all while providing a convenient, on-the-go application which claims to 'with just one application, achieve instantly natural radiant skin". It’s marketed as a multi-functional balm that can be used on various areas of the face, neck and body which is certainly appealing.
Upon examining the ingredients list, I found a promising mix of beneficial components, including low molecular salmon collagen, salmon-derived sodium DNA, and Salmon Proteoglycan, which are promising for combating wrinkles. However, while the formula sounds great, I didn’t notice a dramatic difference in the appearance of my fine lines or overall skin texture. Perhaps if I gave it more time I may have seen some long term results from using it, however I really dislike the way that the product feels and looks on my skin. I found the product to feel really heavy and greasy, and it doesn't really absorb but it just sits there. I initially figured that I was perhaps too liberal with my application, so I tried putting less product, without any improvement. I also really dislike the strong fragrance - it's completely unnecessary and adds no value.
On the positive side, the balm does look great in photos, which is likely why it went viral on TikTok. If you have a lot of selfies or Zoom calls coming up, this product can give you that glow (although in real life, it looks more like grease to me)—as long as you’re not sensitive to fragrance.
One aspect I appreciate about Kahi is their commitment to ethical practices, ensuring that their products are cruelty-free. It’s reassuring to know that no animal testing is involved in their processes.
In conclusion, while the Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm Stick has its merits on the ingredients list—especially in terms of convenience and hydration—I believe it falls short of delivering the transformative results I hoped for. For those with really dry skin looking for a quick, hydrating balm, it might be worth a try, but for significant wrinkle reduction, you may want to explore other options.
